Equipping the Community

From our initial visits it became clear how under resourced the community was to deal with emergencies. There simply was no infrastructure in place. As a result the community was at risk in the event of a fire and responding to emergencies. Due to the lack of transport, reaching a hospital in time to seek medical attention was a massive challenge.

Our Commitment

We are committed to providing on-going support through regular donation. In reality, this means that as a charity we are able to fund food parcels, medical supplies, additional food, toys and clothing when we visit. Some of these items are provided, by the donations, on a regular basis through the team that are living in the community, whilst other items we bring with us / or send over periodically.
